SF2020 event – Aetna Medicare Solutions
A few times a year, the Medicare Solutions team hosts incentive events for their top performing brokers. Knowing most insurance companies do the same and knowing most brokers base what insurance they sell on the incentive trip they might receive, we knew we had to be on point.
Collaborating with a writer and CD, we teamed up to create 2 unique concepts and designed the overall look, tone and feel of the event. This event took place in San Francisco, and given the initial destination was Hawaii, we had our work cut out for us.
My concept — The Golden Gateway — was strictly about elegance and what better way to show that off, than to cast everything in gold. It also only felt natural to call out the bridge to see what lies beyond the entrance to the city.
I was inspired by the actual hotel our attendees were staying at, which felt as if it were plucked from Europe and transplanted into the heart of the city. The conference mark evolved after our initial client meeting to incorporate keys, to symbolize that our attendees were basically being given a “key to the city”.
In addition to the main conference mark, a gala was held during 1 night of their stay. To not loose the integrity of our circle mark, I incorporated a pagoda to act as an entrance into Chinatown and our entrance into the gala.
