NDP 2020 event – Aetna Medicare Solutions
Every year, the Medicare Solutions team hosts an annual open enrollment conference for their external vendors — national distribution partners (NDP) — to give a sneak peak at what products will be coming in the new year. There is a heavy focus on training, which is why the concepts needed to be light.
Collaborating with a writer, junior designer and CD, we teamed up to create 2 unique concepts and designed the overall look, tone and feel of the event. This year, the event took place in Anaheim.
My first concept — West coast state of mind — plays on the idea of FOMO and from an attendee point-of-view, this is an event that you don’t want to miss. The idea was to create a pre-trip drip campaign that would get attendees psyched up for the event. The graphic treatment took the form as a polaroid to capture the unique snapshot they could be missing out on.
Our second concept — Anaheim+ — brings our attendees back to school business in the 80s. Our attendee’s are in this age bracket, which is why we went this route. I took on an ACD role for this concept and coached a junior designer though initial concept into mockup execution.
